About The F.O.G. United
Our Mission
The F.O.G. (Family of God) United is a family of Independent Baptist pastors and sister churches united in faith, fellowship, and the shared mission of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that as believers, we are a family—a vapor together on this earth, but eternal forever in Christ. Our family provides support, encouragement, and biblical fellowship for pastors and churches committed to the truth of God's Word.
Our Purpose
We exist to strengthen and support Independent Baptist pastors and churches through fellowship, shared resources, and mutual encouragement. Our family provides opportunities for pastors to connect, share wisdom, and support one another in ministry.
We are built on the foundation of God's Word, and we are committed to teaching, preaching, and living out the truth of Scripture. Together, we advance the Kingdom of God and fulfill the Great Commission.
Our Strategy
The F.O.G. National Church-Planting Strategy lays out how our family intends to start, grow, and support Christ-centered, Black-led Independent Baptist churches across America. It rests on one simple idea: we are one church meeting in many places, each congregation independent and locally led, yet no longer standing alone.
The plan is built on four pillars:
- Proclaim — sharing the Gospel boldly and clearly, meeting people right where they are.
- Partner — connecting churches, leaders, and people into one family that shares strength, resources, and encouragement.
- Plant — building strong, independent, Black-led churches that stand as lasting sources of hope and stability.
- Prepare — training and mentoring the next generation of pastors, preachers, and teachers.
Our Beliefs
- We believe in the inerrancy and authority of the Bible
- We believe in the Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
- We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ
- We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ
- We believe in the local church as the body of Christ
- We believe in the Great Commission to spread the Gospel
- We believe in the autonomy of the local church
- We believe in biblical separation and holy living
Our Family
Our family consists of Independent Baptist pastors and sister churches who share a commitment to biblical truth and the spread of the Gospel. We come together for fellowship, encouragement, and mutual support in ministry. Through regular gatherings, shared resources, and prayer, we strengthen one another as we serve the Lord.
